Which Blogging Software To Use

With so many different blogging software programs to choose from, committing to one isn’t easy. Every single one seems to offer just a little bit of what we need, and it would be a blogger’s dream to find one that offered just what’s needed within a single package. Until that day arrives, you’re going to have to consider your priorities. Here’s how.

Minimal Requirements

HTML Blogger utilizes and works with the Kure blogging software. Kure differs from most of the popular and aspiring blogging software programs because it offers the basics without bandwidth hogging extras. Using Kure, your blogging software displays both posts and comment forms, and it also lists posts by date.

These are the most minimal requirements for any blogging software. But it doesn’t stop there. Kure is also customizable. Just like with other blogging software programs, Kure accepts and works with plug ins — and it does so without slowing down your blog.

Visual Needs And Functionality

Some blogging software like WordPress work with templates and add-ons that can make them very difficult to edit. HTML Blogger’s Kure doesn’t and this is what makes HTML Blogger extremely easy to use

You never have to worry about working with moveable type, php includes, or anything as complicated as that with HTML Blogger because Kure’s technology is built with simple HTML code (plain text). And you never need to edit a side panel, widget, comment field, or theme page because Kure doesn’t use them.

Expandability

At some point, you’re going to want your blogging software to do more than just display text. So don’t underestimate HTML Blogger’s power. Although it’s simple blogging software, it can extend your blog’s capabilities with HTML tags and javascripts that other blogging software just doesn’t allow.

You can for example, embed multimedia elements, forms, and tables without the need for plug-ins. (Plug-ins will slow down the delivery of your posts.)

Host Capabilities, Server Size, & Costs

Learn more about Kure here.

Kure works with any php enabled server, but because it works from one file, you never need to worry about running out of server space or having to upgrade your account to a more expensive package. Compared to the size of even the most basic WordPress blogging software packages (over 4MB!), Kure is ridiculously small (only 34KB!!). And since HTML Blogger works from your desktop, it removes bulky editing code from your server space.
