RentACoder’s responsiveness is anything but usual. It’s atypical, uncommon, and what makes this company stand out from the rest. |
One of the things I constantly hear about RentACoder is its speedy responsiveness. As a provider, outsourcer, and worker, I can attest to that responsiveness. But it’s not usual, which prompted this blog post. Here’s an example:
Confused, But Not For Long
I was confused about how a procedure within RentACoder’s affiliate program worked, and having communicated with the company’s CEO multiple times, I sent Ian Ippolito a rather long email message with screenshots illustrating my confusion.
Within 48 hours, Ian emailed me back with not only full explanations of what confused me, but a promise to clarify the issue on the RentACoder website. He additionally apologized for the confusion. Some of you may think that’s standard company procedure, but I ask you…
- When was the last time you contacted the CEO of a company and received (1) an apology, (2) an explanation, and (3) a promise to fix the problem?
- When was the last time the CEO of a company emailed you screenshots of a delivered promise?
- When was the last the the CEO of a company emailed you just to say “You’re welcome.” after you’ve thanked him or her?
CEOs Just Don’t Do This
Chances are, the last time was close to never. CEOs just don’t do this. But it’s a small part of what separates RentACoder from the myriad of other outsourcing services. RentACoder is a company that takes small business values to heart. Your emails are always returned, and your questions are always answered.
They’re done so, in fact, with a level of professionalism that none of us ever expect from big firms, corporations, or companies that are more interested in acquiring other businesses than responding to their life-line.
This isn’t just a random act of kindness either. I’ve closely communicated with Ian on more than several occasions, and can verify, this is simply his “style.” It’s the way Ian “gets down,” and if you want to work with a company that performs this way on a daily basis, RentACoder is the company that delivers.
It’s Not Just The CEO
Of course, I couldn’t possibly continue such a rave without commenting on the rest of the staff. The entire office is professional, and not a single staff member is hesitant about communicating. On several occasions, I’ve asked the company for favors I probably shouldn’t have ask for, yet received with utmost understanding
