Systemizing Your Business

Systemizing Your Business

If you haven’t already, register a username for yourself so you can discuss this topic in our Outsourcing forum.

One of the most fascinating parts about business is its operations – its processes – the way “it” works. Software engineers know this, and they produce programs that either partially automate or fully automate some of the most significant (and repetitive) parts.

Systemizing business is the act of identifying core processes in business procedures, and then streamlining those processes in a way that can be automated or readily replicated for multiple purposes. This article suggests three ways in which your business can be systemized into an automatic operation.

Repetitive Tasks

One way you can systemize your activities is to automate or outsource all the tasks you find yourself doing on a repetitive basis. Some of these things might include:

-    Answering email
-    Posting to blogs
-    Uploading e-books to software libraries
-    Responding to questions on discussion forums
-    Responding to hot topics on Yahoo
-    Finding quality content
-    Re-writing PLR content to fit your business
-    Enhancing content with photos, videos, and/or sound bytes
-    Creating and submitting RSS feeds

Templates

There could probably be no better way to streamline or systemize a procedure than to use templates. Templates save a tremendous amount of time in production for any kind of business – ranging from huge metal manufacturing factories to medium-sized software programming labs – all the way to the local pottery shop.

Remember that a template is a simple model used for making more complicated, intricate, or even customized products. Templates are tools that put the re-use theory to practical use. Here are a few links to some templates that could facilitate the back-end development part of things, such as web design and office maintenance.
