As previously discussed in “Criticisms of Outsourcing,” you may not get the support you need or want from everyone in the workplace. In fact, you may get just the opposite manifested in the form of decreased productivity and an overall diminished work morale. This is to be expected and it’s normal. It’s also fear-based.

Upon hearing intentions to outsource, your workforce — once confident and actually happy to have a bill-paying job – may feel insecure and less motivated to even show up to work. Valuable time could be lost too since the majority of the workforce would probably spend most of its time sending out resumes and attending job interviews instead of working!..
