I like that this is through Amazon as it's quite easy to sell Amazon products because they've become such a trusted brand. I sell quite a bit of Amazon products but have never placed my own products for sale there. Do they give you a breakdown on the backend as to EPC or conversion rates?

RentACoder is decent to use and they tend to take care of the customer (where some other places do not) but not everyone is found there. The last guy I worked with I actually found on Craigslist of all places, truly amazed with his work.

Shanda,

Amazon supplies monthly affiliate reports, but I haven't earned enough as an affiliate yet to create much data. I haven't even paid any attention to what specifics are in those reports as a result. But if memory serves correct, I believe the site hosted a message board for their affiliates, and the last time I checked it, (which is years ago) affiliates asked for the things you inquired about. Hopefully Amazon provided them by now.

I'm glad it worked out for you, jules. I love RentACoder (vWorker, now), as you can probably tell. :-)

I meant what they give to vendors. I thought perhaps they showed you guys different statistics. I am an Amazon affiliate but I don't really get a breakdown per product so those numbers aren't available.

Oh I see. Yeah – vendors get zip, nada, nuthin' in regards to what could be some extremely useful data.

pebrochiquita (and others),

California reversed its decision regarding Amazon income and taxes. Amazon has since invited its California affiliates back, so you might want to reconsider. Here’s a link that talks about the reversal: http://www.justoutsourcing.com/wp/gu4
