Mia is a communications specialist we commissioned to answer some important questions about her role in online outsourcing. Take a listen at what makes her a terrific candidate for your communication projects.
“Hi, my name is Mia and I do online freelancing. I basically use it to offer my communication skills to people, companies, businesses,… online websites that don’t really have a communication specialist or a spokesperson to be able to talk about their product.
I really enjoy freelancing online because I can work with others on the Internet and engage with people who normally would not have an opportunity to have someone like me on their website.
It gives me a chance to bring some creativity to the site, whether I’m talking about how great a product is, or I’m doing an introductory video for a website. A lot of people like to use me as their spokesperson because I’m fun and outgoing and energetic.
Depending on the budget for some people, it allows me to do something for a really low price. I know what it’s like to own a small business, so it allows me to kind of enable a small business to take the next step in marketing without having to spend a ton of money.
I really wouldn’t be able to use the skills I’m using as a freelancer right now unless I was in the field of broadcasting. Currently, I’m a Sophomore in college. I do have a 4.0 GPA, and I do currently have an internship doing the news. However I don’t really think I’d be able to use my kind of broadcasting skills unless I was freelancing.
Unless you graduate from college, you don’t really get offered a lot of jobs to be doing the news, to be in marketing, to be doing commercials. Unless I get picked up in Hollywood, I really wouldn’t be doing anything remotely like this.
If it wasn’t for online outsourcing, I don’t really think I’d be able to do any of the opportunities I’ve been given. Companies have paid me to do commercials… voice overs. It’s really been a hands-on experience that I actually can’t even get at schools. So it’s been an amazing learning experience.
So thank you. I love everyone who’s hired me, and I really appreciate it!”
Cute!!!
Yup!
