Hiring Individual Service Providers vs Companies
The transition of online hiring from the offline workplace to the online outsourcing service hasn’t been without its challenges. One of those challenges is deciding who to hire: a single service provider or an outsourcing company.
Why Hire a Company
With a company, bulk tasks are (typically) easily accomplished within the shortest time. The company also provides a collection of experts with varied experience who are well versed in professional protocol and industry standards. For these basic reasons, the company may attract attention and trust more so than the sole freelancer or service provider — even with the propensity for higher fees. Despite conflicting reports, more pay is still associated with better quality.
Why Hire an Individual Service Provider
With the individual service provider, consistent quality is a given — especially within a particular expertise. The individual service provider, for example, could be a retired professional who has mastered a specific trade while working for a large company. Detached from that company, this same person is free to dispense accumulated knowledge to whoever demands it — on a more intimate level at that.
Why Neither Option Matters
Regardless of the source, the bottom line will always remain with who can provide timely work and sufficient quality. The challenge thus shifts from deciding between a company and a single service provider to deciding between persons who offer the best quality. Whether an online company or an individual provider, what matters at the end of the day is the result.
