BidHire touts itself as an online freelance marketplace comparable to GetACoder, Scriptlance, Elance, and GetAFreelancer. BidHire does not publicize adequate contact information, such as support email addresses, a physical address, and a phone number. Its main channel of communication occurs through a contact form only.
Fees and Payments
BidHire does not charge a fee to select or work with a service provider, though featured listings cost $20. It accepts all major credit cards via PayPal and 2checkout for escrowing, but it doesn't offer a traditional money back guarantee. Instead, BidHire offers refunds at the staff's choosing only, and 'financial disputes should be resolved between members, or via another third party, and without Bidhire whenever possible.'
Consumer Security
BidHire does not work through a secured server, nor is it accredited at the Better Business Bureau. It is, however, declared 'Norton Safe'.
Full Disclosure
BidHire's full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are open to the public (though seemingly, intermixed), but an expected FAQ page is missing.
