WeekendHacker is an unusual resource for seeking providers because (1) it focuses on the tiniest of projects (projects lasting no more than three days), (2) it’s completely free, and (3) it’s an experiment. We’re not even sure if it should be reviewed against our criteria, and for that reason, this review may be removed. Until then, click our review standards for an explanation of ranking criteria and other related information. Email the administrator to update old information or to make a correction.

| Contact Information | |
|---|---|
| WeekendHacker publicizes adequate contact information, such as support email addresses and a physical address. It does not, however, provide a phone number. | |
| Fees and Payments | |
| WeekendHacker does not facilitate payments. Work provided through its system is free or bartered, so nothing is guaranteed, and members are encouraged to use common business sense under those conditions. For projects that need payment, the service recommends establishing a relationship through Foundrs.com. | |
| Consumer Security | |
| WeekendHacker does not work through a secured server, nor is it declared 'Norton Safe' or listed with the Better Business Bureau. | |
| Full Disclosure | |
| WeekendHacker's full FAQ and Privacy Policy are open to the public. Its Terms of Service policy is not. | |
| Buzz Factor | |
| Onsite, WeekendHacker does not appear to provide a ratings/feedback system. Offsite, the service is not well-known, with only 102 external websites linking back to its own. See the Presence category for more. | |
| Support | |
| WeekendHacker provides support via email. It also offers a sparse help section. | |
| Presence | |
| As of the date of this review's publication, WeekendHacker, ranked 338,626 by Alexa, provides access to 7,696 contractors. It maintains a company presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, but not Wikipedia. It has also failed to release any significant press releases. | |

Additional Comments
Because of WeekendHacker’s unusual business model, the current rating isn’t entirely appropriate for what the service is designed for. Some parts of our criteria weren’t appropriate or even applicable, but since the service provides an outlet for securing IT related work online, we included it in the service review anyway. Its inclusion status may change. Current events can be found in our WeekendHacker News section.
