JobBoy is a service where employers can create campaigns (jobs) for workers to complete. This website supplies a physical address and support email addresses, which may be adequate contact information for some. The service does not make its phone number public, however, like some of the more professional services do. Its main channel of communication is a contact form.
Fees and Payments
JobBoy does not publically disclose its fees, nor does it disclose who is responsible for paying them. It accepts all major credit cards via PayPal and AlertPay, but it does not appear to offer a money back guarantee.
Consumer Security
JobBoy does not work through a secured server, nor is it listed with the Better Business Bureau. It is, however, declared 'Norton Safe'
Full Disclosure
JobBoy's full FAQ and Terms of Service are open to the public, however, its Privacy Policy is not (or it's simply not available).
Buzz Factor
Onsite, JobBoy does not appear to provide a ratings/feedback system. Offsite, the service is not well-known, with only 78 external websites linking back to its own. See the Presence category for more.
Support
JobBoy provides support via email. But its' help section is severely underdeveloped.
Presence
As of the date of this review's publication, JobBoy, ranked 234,869 by Alexa, claims to provide access to 38,641 contractors and 11,017 American contractors, but we find that a bit hard to believe considering the results described above. It maintains a company presence on Twitter and Facebook, but not LinkedIn or Wikipedia. It hasn't released any press releases, either.
