Successful Business Persuasion In Action
I remember reading many books by an author who always talked about viewing life with a positive view. His outlook was always substantiated with numerous personal examples of overcoming insurmountable odds.
Examples:
- An orator with a lisp who became a great inspirational speaker.
- A widow who became an industrious person after overcoming deep depression.
Becoming an entrepreneur was always ranked high on their list, and it has inspired me ever since to become one myself.
Find a Need and Fill It
The author’s mantra was ‘find a need and fill it.’ Is there a need for this product I’m trying to market? Does this product serve the general population, or does it lend itself to exclusivity? Is this product practicable? Does it serve a large clientele? Is it convenient to use, or is it burdened down with instructions?
Every time I considered marketing a particular product line, those words stayed with me: ‘find a need and fill it.’ So my early years of marketing brought me to selling encyclopedias, telemarketing, and marketing a vacuum home cleaning system. I even sold subscriptions to a local community newspaper as a weekend, at-home caller.
“I found a niche for now.”
That mantra, ‘find a need and fill it,’ enabled me to acquire several interesting positions. I’m semi-retired now, and at present, I’m writing articles. I love writing, and I have decided to hone this craft. Receiving pay for writing is simply icing on the cake!
After digging through numerous internet at-home schemes that required many years of technical experience, I’m happy to say I found a niche for now. Current events can be found in our Business Persuasion News section.
